At St. Therese Catholic School, we are honored to introduce Mrs. Christina Murtagh, our devoted 6th grade Homeroom, Math, and Science teacher—a true cornerstone of our school family. With over sixteen years nurturing and inspiring students at our school, Mrs. Murtagh’s career is marked by passion, warmth, and unwavering commitment. She brings a rich educational background, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Social/Behavioral Science from Felician College and teaching licenses in both New Jersey and New Mexico. Her varied classroom experiences from leading 2nd and 3rd graders in New Jersey to guiding students in Nevada and Albuquerque shine through in her engaging lessons and personalized care for every child.
Mrs. Murtagh sees each student’s potential and celebrates their unique gifts, fostering a classroom where every child feels valued and encouraged like part of a family. Her love for teaching and students goes beyond academics; she helps children grow into confident, compassionate individuals ready to meet life's challenges.
Outside of school, she cherishes time with her loving family her husband Paul and their wonderful children, Caitlin, Christopher, and Nicole reminding us all of the importance of family bonds.
We are truly blessed to have such an inspiring and caring teacher as part of our community.
