Dr. Elsie Inocian is a faithful practicing member of St. Therese of the Infant Jesus Church. Dr. Inocian brings with her 20 years of teaching experience and 2 years as a school administrator, with a strong passion for academic excellence, personal and professional growth, a safe and inclusive learning environment. Her educational journey includes a Bachelor of Arts in English; Master in Education major in Special Education (M.A.Ed.-SPED); English Language Teaching (M.A.Ed.-ELT); Mathematics (MAT-MATH); and Doctor in Education major in Educational Leadership and Management (Ed.D.-ELM). Currently, she is working on her 2nd doctorate degree in Special Education (Dev.Ed.-SPED) focusing on the Integration of AIM Curriculum/ACT Hexaflex to develop students Psychological Flexibility among the Social-Emotional Students. In addition, she holds a Level Three Teaching Licenses in Pre K-8 Elementary (TESOL); Pre K-12 Specialty License (TESOL, ELA, Reading & Math); and Pre K-12 Special Education (TESOL) in New Mexico; and a K-12 Mild-Mod Spec Ed in Arizona. She holds an Administrative/Principal Licenses in both states, New Mexico and Arizona.
Throughout her career, she had the privilege of working in various educational roles, including as an elementary teacher, undergraduate instructor (College) and graduate professor (Master); post-graduate professor (Doctoral); Elementary School Principal and a Private School Director/Founder/Owner in the Philippines. Moreover, she taught Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Math Strategies, Financial Literacy and Geometry in West Mesa High School and Valley High School where she received merit, “Teacher Making a Difference”. In totality, she served Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) District for about 6 consecutive years and received an award from APS Board of Education as “Being the Key to Students’ Success”. Each of these experiences have provided her with valuable insights into the diverse needs of students, parents, and educators.
