Mariah Medina is thrilled to join St. Therese as the 3rd grade teacher this year. A native of Taos, NM, she now calls Albuquerque home, where she lives with her beloved dog, Ella. Mariah earned her BA in Archaeology from the University of New Mexico, where she also completed her teaching license in 2021. Her teaching experience spans both 1st and 5th grades, giving her a well-rounded perspective on early childhood education.
Mariah is passionate about creating a classroom environment where learning is both a personal and shared experience. She believes that education flourishes through collaboration, kindness, and active contributions to the community. Dedicated to inspiring her students, Mariah aims to nurture not only their academic growth but also their capacity for empathy and teamwork. She is eager to embark on a rewarding school year and become an engaged member of the St. Therese community.
