Mrs. Miller was born and raised in New Mexico and completed her early education at Holy Ghost Catholic School. She graduated from Sandia High School before earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Early Childhood Multicultural Education from the University of New Mexico. She furthered her expertise by obtaining a Master’s of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from West Texas A&M University.
With 11 years of teaching experience, Mrs. Miller is passionate about recognizing that all children learn and develop differently. She emphasizes kinesthetic discovery, critical thinking, and cooperative problem-solving in her classroom.
Outside of her professional life, Mrs. Miller enjoys spending time outdoors in God’s country, capturing moments behind the lens of her camera, and baking in the kitchen.
Her teaching philosophy aligns with the words of Nelson Mandela: “Education is the most POWERFUL weapon which you can use to change the world.”
